Core Positioning and Functions
1-channel SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) master terminal, directly connects to single-turn/multi-turn absolute encoders, differential RS422 signal, resistant to strong electromagnetic interference.
Supports adjustable baud rate (maximum 1 MHz, default 250 kHz), Gray code/binary switching, data length 0~32 bit (default 24 bit); provides diagnostic status such as power failure bit.
Distributed clock (DC) synchronous reading, synchronizes with EtherCAT cycle when DC is disabled; the terminal can directly output 24V DC to the encoder, optional EL9505 provides 5V power supply.
Full English name: 1-channel Encoder Interface Terminal, SSI; no additional configuration software required, plug and play in TwinCAT, channel LED status indication.
500V electrical isolation between E-bus and field potential, industrial-grade protection.
