The Mitsubishi Q64AD is a 4-channel analog input module belonging to the Mitsubishi MELSEC-Q series PLC system. It converts external continuous analog signals (voltage or current) from field sensors and transmitters into digital data readable by the Q CPU. Collected digital values can be used for real-time monitoring, closed-loop adjustment, data logging and alarm triggering in automation programs. Common field signal sources include pressure sensors, temperature transmitters, flow meters, level sensors and other analog measuring devices. This module plugs directly into the Q series PLC base unit to expand analog acquisition capacity for automated production systems.
