1. Product Overview

The Siemens 6ES7288-1ST40-0AA0 SIMATIC S7-200 SMART CPU ST40 is a DC/DC/DC compact micro PLC designed for small and medium automation equipment. It is powered by DC 24V (20.4~28.8V), equipped with total 40 onboard I/O points: 24 channels DC24V digital inputs and 16 channels DC24V transistor outputs. Built-in Ethernet port and RS485 Modbus-RTU communication interface, with Micro SD card slot for program backup. Transistor output supports high-speed pulse output to control stepper motors and servo drives.

Note: This model has been phased out by Siemens, successor model: 6ES7288-1ST40-0AA1.
