Pilz 504220 Non-Contact Magnetic Safety Switch with Category 4 PL e Safety and IP65 IP67 Rating

The Pilz 504220 (also known as PSEN 1.1p-20/PSEN 1.1-20) is a non-contact magnetic safety switch from the PSENmag series. It is designed to monitor the position of movable safety guards (such as safety gates, doors, or covers) on industrial machinery.

When the safety gate is closed, the actuator (included) keeps the switch's safety contacts closed, allowing the machine to operate. If the gate is opened, the magnetic field is interrupted, the contacts open, and a stop command is sent to the machine's safety control circuit.

This switch is ideal for harsh environments because its non-contact design makes it insensitive to vibration, shock, dust, and moisture. It meets the highest safety standards, including EN ISO 13849-1 PL e (Safety Category 4) and EN/IEC 62061 SIL CL 3.
