The Beckhoff EL5151 is a professional EtherCAT differential digital input terminal specially designed for collecting incremental encoder and differential pulse signals. With 16-bit high resolution and 500 V electrical isolation, this module gathers position and speed feedback signals from encoders, displacement sensors and motion detection devices on site, converts field differential signals into standard EtherCAT bus data, and transmits data to the upper master controller. It realizes high-precision closed-loop positioning, speed monitoring and motion logic control, and can be flexibly combined with various Beckhoff EtherCAT couplers and EL series I/O modules to build distributed industrial motion control systems for different automated equipment.
