The Siemens 6ES7231-7PC22-0XA8 EM231 RTD module is a dedicated expansion module exclusively for SIMATIC S7-200 S7-22X series CPU. It provides 4-channel RTD temperature acquisition, used to read resistance signals from thermal resistance sensors (Pt100, Pt1000, Cu10 etc.), convert resistance value to digital temperature data for S7-200 PLC. It realizes high-precision temperature monitoring and closed-loop temperature control, widely used to expand analog temperature input points for old S7-200 automation systems.

Note: This module can ONLY work with S7-22X CPU (CPU222/224/226), not compatible with other PLC series.
